NEET (National Eligibility cum entrance test) is a medical entrance exam conducted every year for students aspiring career in the medical field. It takes admission for the MBBS/BDS Courses in India offered by medical and dental colleges in India. The program is conducted by the Medical Council of India a part of the Union Health Ministry. The exam was held on 7 May in 2017.The 2018 dates will come soon.
Candidates must have completed their 17 years age at the time of admission or soon is going to complete for the Eligibility in exam. For OBC/SC/ST Candidates a relaxation of 5 years is given in the NEET 2018 Exam. The Aadhar card is considered mandatory for admission in the medical courses like MBBS/BDS.
NEET Exam is conducted in the 3hrs long duration of 180marks from physics, chemistry, botany & zoology. The exam will be conducted in 8 languages including English, Hindi, Assamese, Bengali, Gujarati, Marathi, Tamil, Telegu, Oriya & Kannada.
A student is awarded with 4 marks for each right attempt & 1 Mark is deducted for each wrong attempt
